I have been in touch with the 'cafe' and they are expecting us. Several have discovered they have other commitments, so maybe an actual show of hands the week before would be good so they have an idea of how many to cater for.
I have a bit of a ride on some parts of the country people may not have been to... and a back up route in case we have some 'less than nimble' bikes turn up. :thumby:

Yes please if I may.

I’m headed to the Bike for Life thing at Shrewsbury so may do breakfast and then ride but split at some point.

Incidentally, I have a twin room booked in Shrewsbury that night so there’s a bed and breakfast going free if anyone is looking to combine the trips too.

Well at least there will be two of us. Malcopolo might turn up, unless he is in some far flung clime! I will start to make a list, but I will only be able to edit it for a short period, so it will keep being reposted as names are added!

Hi All

Simon has just rang me to say that he has had a work commitment come up and thus cannot attend.

He has no internet access at moment hence me posting.

Simon has asked me to ‘lead’ the ride which I’m v happy to do.

So basically no change other than I’ll be wobbling around at the front on a nice route.

I was going to peel off to head for Shrewsbury but I’ll do a route which loops back towards the start point.

I’m seeing Simon on Friday re something else so will get his intended route from him.

Hope that makes sense.

Looking at map, I’ll do a route, on road, to end up at Denstone Hall farm shop and cafe.

It’s got plenty of parking and great cafe.

It’s at ST14 5HF, just north of Rochester, so close to start point but different cafe.

Hope that’s ok, please post if you want anything vastly different, I’m new to this :D
