Just thought you might be interested. I have just fitted ARDcase panniers and love 'em. They are on the Touratech frame which projects 2" further on the exhaust side so I went for a 7" and a 9" pannier which, thus, extend symmetrically. Total width is 93cm (sorry to mix units)...this means almost exactly an inch less than the handlebars at each side. This seems to make a massive difference, probably psychlogical, over a pannier which extends as far or further than the handlebars and leads to relatively care free filtering. They are very unobtrusive and make no difference I can discern to the handling. I took them up to Orkney a couple of weeks ago and haven't bothered taking them off (for my regular supermarket shopping trips). Well, I have had multiple Givis panniers over the years, BMW varios and also BMW Adventure style/ aluminium but these are the best. Simple but very stable fitting onto the TT frame (which, I have to say, is excellent) and I'm sure they will take a knock, which I am equally sure they will get at some stage.

My tent fits into the bottom of the 7" pannier so the smaller size (which I wasn't 100% sure about when I ordered them) is no disadvantage to me but then, I do travel light. Pictures aren't great and seem to exaggerate the panniers' bulk but you get the idea.
