Awesome Sexy Diamond Bling Farkling Panniers!!

Hi all, just to say that all the hype and pages that this post has generated is still way short in describing how sexy my new Beemer and panniers look now!
Roger, Top Man. Tea was welcome, service was efficient and price was criminal. I am thrilled with my new additions and even the wife thinks they look cool. I must say, you get more respect in traffic with serious bling on yer moto...Thanks. Anyone thinking about getting some, do the research like I did and then jump . They are solid, good workmanship and well fitted. Thank you Roger. Not sure how you do pictures on this forum. Heres a link to my facebook

Ash, how about a strap handle between the tie down points? You'll be very disappointed with Varios after top loaders.

I think there's a post on here about it. BMW make some that might fit but I think Mickey(?) had a nice homemade solution.

I may well miss my ARD panniers, but with my hands/arms i need a simple handle. [hence the vario's]
And an easy on/off system [hence the vario's]
No racks in the way when i attempt to clean my GS [hence the vario's] :D

The ARD panniers for the price and qaulity of build are 100% :bow :bow
But without having my arms/hands for a day you could not understand, the vario's and there mounting system will just be easier for me.
i have the inner bags that go with the Vario's.
i did try an easy carry handle[bmw] for the ARD's but mounting them and taking off the bike has also proven to be a major problem this year :(
no racks to clean and nothing in the way when cleaning is also so much easier.
i am however keeping my ARD's[for a while] just incase the Vario's are pants :thumb
using the car would be so much easier :)

Just returned from a 3 week trip to Corsica with my new Ard cases. The overall width of my bike with the panniers is a few mm over 1 metre. I cannot believe how good the handling is. First test was filtering on the m25 - no probs. Then the 14kl grid lock through Toulon to get to the port - Hard shoulder, up and along pavements wrong way up one way streets and round roundabouts it was like the Italian job and no wobbles or stress from the panniers. Then the ultimate - fantastic mountain roads in Corsica as well as a bit of off roading - superb. They were greatly admired on the trip especially from my engineer friends.
Great panniers great price great bloke
