Anyone found inner bags that are a good fit for these cases yet ? :thumb2

Aldi and Lidl do some...
If you want to be posh so do Tesco's
If you want to show off M&S do some nice black ones. You can get two of their small black bags in each pannier which allows you to leave the bottom third for the stuff you do not want to lug into the B&B or tent.
Excellent replacement inner bags can be found in most French supermarkets as well, though I have never had to replace any on a trip.

Ard Cases finally fitted

Well I finally got around to getting a few pics of my new Ard Cases fitted to the bike. Really pleased with them.

The bar joining the two frames was a little too long and although Roger kindly offered to send on one of the correct length, I got out my hammer and hacksaw and it wasn't long before I had one of the correct length.

They are top quality and well recommended. :thumb2

I was walking through Huntingdon last Saturday when I spied a Super Ten with a set of ARDcases ride by. From the brief glimpse I got (as well as the photos in this thread) I was impressed by the build quality so I contacts Roger and "booked" an appointment to see him the next day. Sunday turned out to be beautiful riding weather, so after a pootle about the Cambridgeshire fens I rolled into Ramsey Forty-Foot. Net result: Roger is making me a soft luggage rack for the HU weekend in Ripley. It should be ready to pick up this weekend.

Ardcases for varadero

Hi
wondered if you had made some of your fantastic panniers for a honda varadero?
I have already got a frame for the oem Honda cases - would it be feasible to keep the frame and attach the panniers ?

Cheers in advance
Gary

Hi
My name is Kevin and I am looking for a set of panniers for my GS 04
I am looking at the Ard Cases topic and noticed you location. I am in Dublin and was wondering if could let me see how the cases look before deciding to buy some.

Regards Kevin

Finally got around to taking a few pics of my new ARDCases as painstakingly fitted by Roger at the end of March to my 1200GSA with the BM racks

Those that can't get enough pictures of aluminium boxes can look here:

Sorry it's taken me a while Roger.

I've tried to take pictures which accurately show the width of each pannier with respect to the bar ends. This was something I worried needlessly about before buying the ARDCases.

Cheers

Richard

Ive also ordered some cases from Roger, i'm off for a cup of tea and some cake while there being fitted on Wednesday :D I will post some pictures once there on :rose

P.S I was very impressed with the timescale these have been made, thank you very much and see you next week Roger :thumb

Another happy camper after last Friday.

Many thanks to Roger, Excellent value and service. No pics as they look just like all the other one he's fitted to 1200s.

We just need to sort out the best way to fit a topbox to the 1200 now. Anyone got any ideas? Once I remove the vario plate the brace goes too and I want to put in a bit of weight. Prefer to keep rear seat in place but the rack could go.

After a beautful ride down to Roger's last night he set about fitting the cases. It was to be a stressfull time and 3hrs later (Not Rogers fault at all i might add) bleeding, hungry, tired and cold :D the boxes were fitted.

You always hope when work is being carried out on your bike it runs smoothly but there is always one bike that causes problems and guess what, YES it was my bike :beerjug:

Here are some pictures taken this morning on my phone. Next month im off to do a 4k trip so i'll take some nice background pictures to compliment them more.

Frames

These boxes look absolutely great! And after a quote from Roger I'm almost sold... go on I know I want some :clap
I read somewhere that the Holan frames are wider than TT's. Been spying all photo's in this thread :drool but can't really figure out how big the difference is (besides the price :thumb). Anyone know? or point me to some pic's to compare? Other racks to suggest?

Cheers, Leon.

The difference is small, especially considering the Holan racks are £100 + cheaper.

If you like I can nip out and measure my set (200mm left, 250mm right). I know they're 25mm wider than the handlebars if that helps.

Thanks. No need to measure, since my end pipe stands out a bit the Holan frame might be a safer fit.
