Maybe you should just accept that listening to deep base (sic) whilst on the move just ain't going to work for you, or perhaps you are just deaf?
Failing that:
(a) You remember the modest Ocean bill to sort it all out? Time to blow the dust off, perhaps?
(b) Return to GSRich at Autocom?
(c) Boost the iPod volume, via a Boosteroo, perhaps?
What else?
Here's a few guesses / suggestions:
(a) 'Screaming', whatever that is. I think you have a bike-to-bike radio. You can get a warning tone - a persistent loud 'buzz' - if the radio's channel is open with no transmission.
(b) If the music volume is dropping it may mean that it thinks a signal that has priority is wanting to break in over the top?
If you are somehow operating the bike-to-bike it may be the cause? The radio transmission opening up, lowering the music?
(d) Do you have a PTT (Push To Talk) button. Is it working properly?
(e) Possibly the Vox is stepping in, opening up (or closing) channels? Check the sensitivity.
(f) You had the items wired up wrongly before. Are they correct now?
In short, who knows what state you have got the whole shebang into.
