B*****d Gatso's

Inforad GPS-based one (M1) is great for bikes and cars.

They also have a new one that is rechargable rather than powered, and could easily clip behind your fairing or sit on the dash.

Because they are GPS-driven - they will continue to be legal after the government shitheads have outlawed the radar ones.

The M1 is customisable and updated via your computer.

The answer is it depends.
The GPS ones depend on the updates, and that requires people to update the locations, they will also never pick up the mobile systems, although they often bring up frequently used locations regardless of if there is a unit there at the time.
The detector versions again work on the current crop of machines but wont detect those that use infrared, or use cables in the carriageway. The answer is to either keep to the speed limit :-) or use a system that employs a combination of both. I personally haven't used one but I think some of the road angel systems combine gps and detector in one unit and I am sure there are others.
However after all that you also have to assume that it will still NOT get everything.
