hi there i got myself an 1100 gs 1998 reg with 6800 mlies on it and fsh.the bloke never used it and traded it in for a zx10r .the bike came with abs,heated grips and full luggage.phoned the bmw dealer that serviced it and its pucker.had an 1150 gs and thought the grass was greener and traded it in 4yrs ago and had a few bikes since then but you cant beat the ole gs and glad to be back to the ukgser madhoose

Why do people who dont ride the bikes they've got, think they will ride they bike they get next?

That sounds like a great bike, and it may qualify as the lowest mileage 1100 on UKGSer!

And I'd wonder at the decision to go from such a usable bike onto a ZX10R too. Hope he doesn't find himself in need of a lot less speed going into his first bend on that !
