Crikey, I had my first ride on the GS in the dark yesterday evening. What a terrible headlight. Main beam seemed to make almost no difference. No wonder everyone seems to buy aux lighting ASAP.

And I have some fog lights to add, as it happens, so they should help with the dipped beam and - more importantly - with conspicuity while riding.

Anyone care to recommend any particular model of aux lights to go with the main beam? I'm currently thinking of the PIAA 1000 lamps and looking for a supplier.

Brutal, aren't they?

Do a search here on Hella Micro DE and Hella FF50 the choice of lighting for most Tossers, pour yourself some coffee, unplug the phone and settle in for a long read. :)

I make these brackets for the DE's to go onto the 1150, also can convert the DE's to HiD :thumb2

Also stock lots of HiD's, our price is very competitive, in fact we are cheaper than some on ebay :D with higher spec systems and all ours carry a full warranty, if a problem only return to us not Hong Kong :thumb

Get Les above to put HIds in you standard lights, you'll never look back and you can SEE forward!!.
dave ( HID converted) gs.

HID is the way to go, dipped beam first and then take it from there.

+1:thumb for Les and his HID conversions.
