either or mate... at the hogroast this year I lead a group with a proper road tyre shod 12gs and I've seen a guy out there on a Yam MT1 so its possible to do it on most stuff.

however, if you want to get really muddy the DRZ might be more fun


edit: I would advise knobblies if you this time of year though
