I’ve rebuilt the wheels and finished another bike in the meantime,

More progress, I rebuilt the shocks, powdercoated the springs, considering the bike was in a shed for so long the paintwork is in remarkable condition, new Michelin road classics fitted, nearly time to refit the engine.
It’s also nice to know I have the R90S project waiting in the wings.

Moved onto my main workbench now to make room for the R90S . I had a couple of mates call for coffee today so was able to install the engine. I’m really pleased with how it’s coming along, the S fairing is going to go on the R90S I’ve just found.

A little more progress alongside the R90S, gearbox, driveshaft fitted, existing wiring loom is in excellent condition and looks to have been renewed at some point. New glass on order for the speedo, the bike came with a new under tank master cylinder, I’m keeping that for the R90S, I’m using a later bar mounted version on this bike. I’ve been lucky enough to find a donor bike that has loads of brand new parts to share between this bike and the R90S.
