More progress, I rebuilt the shocks, powdercoated the springs, considering the bike was in a shed for so long the paintwork is in remarkable condition, new Michelin road classics fitted, nearly time to refit the engine.

Moved onto my main workbench now to make room for the R90S . I had a couple of mates call for coffee today so was able to install the engine. A little more progress alongside the R90S, gearbox, driveshaft fitted, existing wiring loom is in excellent condition and looks to have been renewed at some point. New glass on order for the speedo, the bike came with a new under tank master cylinder, I’m keeping that for the R90S, I’m using a later bar mounted version on this bike.
