We did this lane recently, i thought i had some images of the lane before the timber trucks came, it was a nice easy climb through the trees.Almost impassable now.

Think I passed you on the way down, how long did it take you to get to the top?

We did it on the return leg and I should have know better. But fun though.

We couldn't get up, spent about thirty minutes messing about, F650 pete passed me going up then he got stuck, i mean stuck, it took three of us to turn his bike round, then some 4x4 ers came up behind us, they turned back when they saw the deep ruts, we never saw any other bikes that day.

I've tried it about four or five times over the last couple of months, if the rains been at it for a couple of days then i only try coming down now, can be bloody hard work getting up otherwise.

Seen several 4x4 try to get up but the've only managed to get little further than the first gate.

I took a couple of lads out from Liverpool the other week, who were a little rusty, over 45 mins to get from the top to the middle gate, they said that they had never seen such deep rivers of mud

Mud

This is looking down, at the start of the mud.
