Battery Light at start up

Had some snags with my ews antenna a couple of weeks ago , have since had that changed but now upon starting the bike it goes through usual start up procedure and then when starter button is pressed the battery indicator shows for a few seconds and then disappears. The bike starts and rides fine. Is this a sign of low charge or that the battery is going to have be changed.
