morning,

I need to remove my battery this evening. I don't have my manual to hand. Is this an easy job? How long should I allow?

regards,

Bonj

Disconnect the negative cable first, and reconnect it last. That way if you short the positive to the frame while disconnecting or connecting it, you won't do any harm.:D

Thanks guys. Whipped the battery out in about five minutes as suggested. Very easy to do, wish more bikes had such user-friendly design.

After refitting the battery, remember to reset the throttle position sensor as described in the manual.

Gulp - didn't read the manual and do this. Rode the bike today and everything seemed fine, will check the manual tonight.

Nice sig by the way...
