Anyone tried these in France. Looks like a better Formule 1 but with your own potty.

Prices look good, around E35.

(Before anyone starts, BB is too short to search for and keeps getting rejected)

Used them for a few years now. Not as prolific as F1 but better quality.
I think they bought out the Village hotel chain las year so a lot more to choose from.

And a better class of clientele and better quality furnishings and some of them even very reasonable restaurants in-house.

Good but more than double the price.

they are fine for an overnight stay. Tend to be located in industrial parks or near motorway exits, just like the other cheap brands.

You may want to look at Premiere Classe & Etap which have en suite rooms about the same price and are in similar locations.

If I was staying for a few nights then I'd want to be closer to the centre of town, but you'll pay more for that usually, of course.
