Just fitted a BB Power chip [care of the nice Mr Squadron Leader thanks Phil]
This added to the Techlusion, K&N Filter, T piece, Large snorkel, & Remus revolution, Have transformed the Bike she revs cleanly right to 8100rpm & pulls sronger than she ever did, I have only done a few miles so I'll give a full report after a full road test:D  :D :D :D :D

snap

Geezer

I have exactly the same set up as you.

I would be interested to know what settings you have on the techlusion.

Also I have removed the lambda sensor.

Dave

Dave I have set the jumper for stage 3 on the BB Powerchip & I'll have to lift the seat & take a look at the Techlusion settings as It's been so long since I set it up I can't remeber,I'll post my findings later,
PS how do you find it on your Bike ??????

i am thinking about adding one of these to my bike. I spoke to TTS Engineering about using BBchip with Techlusion & they said they would'nt do it as they both do a similar thing. How come you guys added both I'd be interested to see if this is albeit expensive the way forward.

Not sure to what noticible degree they would compliment each other - I have the TFI and certainly makes a difference and is great due to flexible adjustment nature. You MUST use a Vm to set it up though - the pot settings are far to sensitive to do on the tiny dials to any meaningful accuracy.

Great..... ppl who are after "more". Plz help. i have a new gsa 2004my with full revolution and nowt else.... i want "more" What do yoe suggest.:beerjug:

The Techlusion effects the fueling as it interupts the signal to the lead injector so smooths out the flat spot's & gives it more juice when you open the thrittle sharply ie; to accelerate.
The BB chip controls the timming & the fueling it lets you rev cleanly to just over 8100rpm [ higher revs more power].
Yes they both on there own make great improvments to the drivablity & performance of the GS, But together they make a big difference to both,
To quote the BMW fitter who serviced my Bike the other week
" F*ck me I nearly shit myself on the post service road test I gave it the usual handful that I do with a standard GS, well the front came up so quick & high I thought it was going to flip it, I let it off & tried again & it set off down the road like a scalded cat I have never ridden a GS that did that ". Well as you can imagine he wanted to know what I had done to it all the details etc etc.
Made me smile anyway.:D

Geezer I strongly recommend to replace the intake tubes for the R1150RS ones. You will find a slight loss of bottom end, but the engines revs much more freely and has noticably more power above 3K revs!

I forgot to mention that I have also shortoned the inlet tubes [Did it about a year ago] & it also makes a bit of difference All adds up I suppose !!!!!!!!!!!

Just read My post, I would like to add that I can't spell !!!!!!!!!!!!

I've just bought a yr2000 GS and the guy who had it before me had a BB chip. The fitting instuctions are pants but I've figured out where the chip goes but this 3 wire thing ..... does it replace the orange plug thingy?

I'm getting a Y piece to remove the cat and a titanium race can (last one - it was cheap) as well as a K+N. Can I assume that it will go well?

Any tips for setting it up?

BB chip in, Y piece fitted (hernia from lifting the cat) and Remus Titanium racing end can fitted, BB chip wire re set accordingly.

Started it up, smoother, ticks over better. Went a test run. SMOOOOOTH. Then I gave it loads of right wrist in 1st from 2000 rpm. Whoops, up came the front. That torque steer's a bugger when you're doing a wheelie.

Woo Hoo!:D
