I quite like the look of this Yes, I know it's probably not weatherproof, but nothing an Otterbox won't sort out. My main criteria is that it should be easily transferrable between bike, car and pocket. Comments please........... :nenau

Nice in theory BUT as soon as you put in a waterproof box you can't use the "Touch Screen". So, it'll be useless!

Take a look at the AquaBox from RAM mounts.

Wouldn't take the thing above but may be OK with a PDA unit,

Also, www.outdoorgb.com/p/otter_box_armor_2600_refotbarmorbk_/

"Touch Screen" would be usable but probably not with much finesse.

.. I suggest you search this forum for the previous thread enquiry on Becker and my reply.

Guys .. my mail box is littered with people who got things for Xmas and want it to go onto a bike and *expect* a magic mounting solution exists. I am :spitfire off already.

As Steve said....

... check for post 'Becker Anyone?' in this forum. The girlfriend fancied one for her car and the salesman (Sextons, 01179661160, Bedminster in Bristol) said it was meant for bikes also and he was trying one out for a week. Come the following weekend he had got really pissed off with it malfunctioning. She went for a Garmin Nuvi for her car (£350-£400ish, can't remember but very, very good) and I got a Quest (£150 lucky last one from Dixons, Stroud) so we paid about the same as a Tom Tom Rider, but we can operate independently. :thumb

Thanks for the replies gents. :thumb I still haven't made up my mind yet though! :nenau
