BEHAVING ODD IN CRADLE

Hi,
before I pester the dealer ,, I have a new ish NAV IV and BMW mount,

all works well when not mounted, ie voice controls MP3 etc..

when mounted in cradle voice and MP3 break up and the Background light goes from the setting ive entered to 30% and then it flickers between 20% and 30% and I cannot adjust the setting any brighter?? ,,

suggestions?.. please Im off to France/Germany in about 10 days..

Try sticking in another mount i.e car mount and see what happens had similar but mine just wouldn't switch to bike mount Garmin replaced but Nav 4 should go throu dealer.

Try some contact cleaner on the mount and the GPS.

Do you always use the cover on your bike mount when not using the Zumo?

Happened to my 550 and turned out to be water in the mount. Believe the 660 mount should be waterproof though? As has ben suggested, try another mount if you can.

Have Contact cleaned and reset to factory settings but still no joy,
Will try to fit in another cradle at a dealers if they are willing to assist and have requested that supplying dealer replaces cradle.. Thanks for help,

There is a chance it is the unit not the cradle.... In my case the cradle was fine the unit was not.

Bluetooth drops when in cradle

I have a 3-year-old Zumo 660 which has worked fine until I recently moved it to the car for a trip to France. On replacing it on the bike I find the Bluetooth connection drops out. Removed from the cradle it all works fine. Any suggestions?
