I like this.

It extends over my vario rack ,quick release, perfect foot print for my kriega US10 tail pack (when I want to travel light) or with panniers creates a flat bed fot a Beer Tent :jager :thumb2 :D :D :D

Made for me as a one off by a Ali Ogigami specialist :thumb2 (aka Chad) and powder coated black :thumb2

MDW whats the spec of the seat you asked diggerseats to do for you as it looks just what im looking for, my trip thro spain with a bmw low seat and a gel fitting was sh1t after 70 miles my ass was killing.

Get yourself a scot oily lube-tube i fitted mine under the seat tucked into the side so its out of sight and ive just done spain and never had to refill once and its still got plenty left in it.
+1 for the Scottoiler Lube Tube.:thumb2
Got mine in the same place as Ding Dong, in the rear compartment, under the seat.
Lasts for ages between re-fills, think mine covered about 3,500 miles.

I'm a modding person...

Probably my best mod was changing from battlewings to dunlops. Are the battlewings that bad or are the dunlops just very good ??

can see another mod on the picture: the harmonica rubbers on the front fork. I do this with all my bikes, no more wear of fork seals, and it looks good.
You can also see the extended rear fender and the hugger, AND the Tsubaki chain, just for safety reasons.
What I also do always is change the headlight for a yellow one

Reason: people see you, they associate yellow with police, ambulance, etc. it just draws the people's attention. Another reason is, while we are riding at night, and I want to check if my wife is stll behind me, I just look in my mirror and see the one yellow light amongst all the white car ones, and I know, ah, she's still there. and this is my best mod: buying my wife an F650GS:

You just have to look at her face to see that's beenn worth the money... Greetz, Hans

gunz, ding,

the seat is a conversion of the original bmw seat. Dave at digger seats turned the seat around for me in about 6 days (although i did not pick it up for 2 weeks).

All i told dave was i wanted a comfy seat with a bit of style, no gay piping, he said he could widen the actual seating area, and do it in the corbin style.

I cant comment on the rear seat as i have had noone on it but the main part of the seat is real comfy.

The workmanship is really good and after 6 minor spills in morocco it is still in perfect condition and for 130 quid it was a bargain

what would one do without

a forum !! thanks, gunz, gonne try imageshack. Was shocked to see you with your pants down ! I know the feeling and frustration, I went down once a year (seems to be a law) when my only means of transportation was my bike, in my poorer days. Healing well?? take care now, hans

Knee is getting there, another week or so before big scab comes off! Lost me job today but I enjoy a change. I can now concentrate on a few odd bike mod's, whilst probably heading into a quite xmas :augie

lost your job??

you seem to take that very relaxed.. wanted to leave all along, or what? keep us posted with your mods then, and there's something to say for a quiet christmas... make the best of your free time, hope you find a new job soon, hans
