best bike for £500

I am looking for a cheap bike £500 all in - bike, insurance etc. Not bothered about looks or speed just something cheap to run that I can got to work on - my boss sold the car park!

Any ideas?

I've got a Kawa GPZ 500 which is surplus to requirements. Comes with mountain of spares including complete spare bike, engines fairings etc. MOT & tax until end of June. Asking £500. Could probably get all that back from selling off unwanted spares (I paid £400 for the second bike which is complete). Sort of Buy One Get One Free.

About 16 miles there and back through some of the busiest streets in Birmingham - really don't need a rocket
