HI All
Having joined the RS SE club, thought I'd share thoughts so far.
Love the bike! My once a week commute is about 180 miles round trip, all year riding, so I like my creature comforts. The seat and riding position are perfect for me - slightly leaned forward but not cramped. The power delivery is fantastic, very linear but still keeping the 2 cylinder character. Only used Road and Dynamic so far, will give it a while before trying Pro. The heated grips and seat both work brilliantly.
Have added a Powerbronze touring screen (not in this pic), a Givi tank ring and SW-Motech cylinder guards. Managed to test the latter on day one of riding by a slow-speed drop on a very muddy stretch of roadworks! Only damage was to the guard, not so much as a scratch on any other part of the bike! I, on the other hand, looked like a mud monster but that washed off...
Also added some cheapo handguards that have been on several bikes. They are bar-end fixing, £15 specials from Ali Express about 10 years ago, might be held together with duct tape, but they fit even on full lock. Had to drill the ends out to take the M10 bolt so will update if they stay on.
Waiting delivery of the Givi top box plate and adaptor to complete the set. Note to anyone waiting for the 'article in manufacturing' note to be lifted on the Givi website - all of the RS stuff is freely available from EU suppliers (Louis Moto, Motocard etc.).
Spoke with MotoScan and established that the ODB unit will work using the r1300 GS program (updated in the app) so that's a minor cost saving if you already have one of the units and app/
More updates and daft questions later
