French toll roads have been in operation for decades, and still GS owners are having a mini adventure trying to fathom out how to proceed on an autoroute, the very same autoroutes that hundreds of thousands of vehicles (including mototrcycles) manage to use every day without any problems.....

It's so bad that I actively avoid using them in case I am arrested and raped by the French Gemdarmerie. I've heard those cameras at the toll booths take your inside leg measurement when you stop to pay, follow you to your campsite and have away with your trousers while you sleep!!!

I wondered where I was going wrong. Are you saying I have to get rid of my prejudice against camping if I want to take advantage of this public service?

Sanef have a UK company subsidiary that will provide dongles and you pay by direct debit.. I don't think you can get a French one without a French address now.

I think you can. The order page has a drop-down with a list of countries.
