:hide I get some buffeting from my sun roof, do you think i should fit a Laminar Lip ? :D

I guarantee you will be the one of the wankers wearing a twat suit in the car when they visit the brummy bike show!

GIVI Screen

Thumbs up for the Givi screen, having just gone from a GS to a GSA I wish I could put the GIVI in the GSA. I'm sure it would solve your buffeting problem.

By the way, my old GIVI is now for sale if you are interested.

Tim - thanks, could well be interested dependent upon it's condition (and price, postage, etc!)

Givi screen

Hi,

I know i'm in the wrong section for selling bits, oh well!

Screen is in good order and would be happy to sell for £60 inc postage. If thats of any interest, let me know.

Givi

Nope, no obvious marks or dinks. Just has a few small light that you pick up in normal use. Comes with original instructions etc

Cutting in from the side here....

Tim, if the interest above does not pan out, contact me on riankemp at yaH00 dot com and show me a pic of what you have or had, I have a 2006 GS and looking at reducing noise as we speak as I want to go to Autocom for me and the missus..... but the noise is quite high on the stndard screen.

Cheers

Hi

No problem, we don't live too far away from each other. I will contact you if nothing happens. Givi screen worked really well for me with autocom, 60 + visor open, no problem.

Tim - definitely interested in buying but don't think I can PM you so either email me or give me a call / txt on 07780-705767. Cheers, Mick

I use the adventure screen on my GS and had that and winglets on the older bike - if it was 2.5-3 inches higher it would have been about perfect, as when I ducked down by that much it improved things dramatically - the extra bar for the Adventure screen also provides the perfect place for the sat nav :)

I've had a Wunderlich tall screen on my 1200GS for 4 years and was always adjusting it to get the best compromise between stopping wind blast and managing the buffeting. A couple of weeks ago I made two short brackets to raise the front/bottom edge of the screen to give a 1 inch gap between screen and headlight. The result is a small flow of air under the screen that helps to minimise the pressure differential behind it aswell as having the high screen to stop wind blast. It works, takes less than an hour and costs nothing.

Mor on screens...
like u all need a solution to the buffeting and thinking of the Givi Airflow (I'm 6.1 wi 32 inside leg and riding with the seat high - at the front!).
My question - I have the stock Nav 4 fitted - any of you know if this will will effect the fitting or functioning of the Givi?
Thanks
