Bike boots to go under jeans.

Very happy with my Daytonas. (Road Star GTX)

Wear them all day most days as I ride to work, and can’t be bothered to change, unless I need my safety boots. I reckon I’ve had them about 18 month maybe 2 years, I polish them occasionally, as if you kneel down, the toes get scratched. Otherwise brilliant. Waterproof (so far) and comfy. Would certainly buy the same again. They fit under my Hood jeans.

Check out the TCX Street Ace, Alpinestars Meta Road or the Forma Swift, all slim-profiled enough to fit under standard cut jeans without looking bulky while still giving you proper CE-rated protection. If you want something that genuinely looks like a casual shoe, the Alpinestars J-6 Waterproof is hard to beat.

I recently had to replace all my bike gear due to weight loss......
Because it was everything at once, I had to be a little more prudent with my spending than normal.

Found these Polish brand of boot called "Shima"......would probably be considered budget-mid range.

I have to say..... I am very impressed with them and the reason I bring them up is..... I also got a pair of Roadskin Spencer riding jeans, which I consider to have a very narrow leg for riding jeans.
These Shima boots fit under them without issue.

Shima Strato Waterproof....

RRP €175

got them reduced for €120

I normally pay between €250 - €300 for my boots and I genuinely don't see any quality shortfall with these.

Longevity will be the telling factor, I suppose.

I wear Daytona's myself.
But in this week's test of Waterproof boots in Motorrad magazine the Rev'it Everest GTX just pipped the Daytona Traveller, Gaerne G_Niemet Goretex, Rebelhorn Defender X and Sidi Aria 2 GTX and TCX Airtech 3 GTX. All very good boots - if they fit your feet and over/under your jeans:).
My summer boots are Daytona Roadstars without Goretex.
