. But a great idea if you go on holiday ( alone) and use the bike as secondary transport , can you still use the panniers ?I get it although an mtb would be my choice but then Schtum's words of wisdom sadly ring true.
Weight wise that bike should be 8kg +- depending on the kit on it and wheels so you won't even know it's there.
Jallani, I to have a 2x2 cycle rack for my GS LC. Do you need to remove the rear passenger rails to make it fit? Will post a pic once it's fitted.
