I have a 2012 1200GS twin cam. I use it every day to get to work. On Friday my dipped headlight blew. In order to check the new bulb was working I started the bike but turned the enging off almost immediately. Come Monday morning it wouldn't start. Thinking it may be the battery I placed it on charge and went to work in the car. Tonight however the bike wont start and the battery is fully charged. Would it be possible I have flooded the plugs hence not starting if so is it easy to check the plugs or are specialist tools required?
BMW have offered to collect the bike and take it to Clarks but then I'm stuck without a bike.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

With four spark plugs it should catch after a few turns of the crank. I would suspect your fuel pump controller may have failed, an easy fix for a dealer in about ten minutes.

Just got it started with BMW Emergency service on the way. I just kept my thumb on the starter and after about 10 seconds it started up, throwing lots of black smoke out of the exhaust. Been on a quick run and it runs fine.
It has shown that BMW will generally only recover the bike to a Dealer and not send someone who can possibly rectify the issue. This would have created a problem in terms of getting the bike back as I probably would have had to collect from Clarks on the far side of Birmingham to where I live.
Ah well all's well .......
