To be fair, some 3M VHB tape is almost impossible to pull apart if the surface preparation is properly done. My solar panel on my T5 camper was bonded to my pop top roof with 3M VHB and I had to saw it off with fishing line when it failed, no way was it coming off without a fight.

I think Lotus used bonding rather than welding to some of their aluminium chassis extrusions.

Some riders have all the "luck". At least it wasn't autonomous front wheel lockups or a self-starting engine this time.

MZ used glue of some sort on some of their frames in the 1990’s….. scorpion was one.
Lotus also bonded chassis together with glue….
