Hi

Just had my zumo and autocom hardwired to the bike. Everything works fine except the bluetooth dongle.

It will not boot ??? I have tried everything but the dongle seems dead. I have the autocom 200 , so I tried to hook it up with a 9v to see if there was any issues with the wiring, but no.

The dongle is connected in Aux 1 and no other leads are connected to the autocom but it still will not work.

I had similar problems but it now works perfectly. Basically what the instructions don't tell you is there are two rates of flash of the leds. You need to keep pressing the reset button until you get the seccond set of flashy led. I.e the faster rate.

If you are not getting any flashy led. then either you have the wrong dongle. (there are two types, a powered from autocom type and an independent powered type) or your dongle is not working!

IHTH.

When I first got it I tried it and it worked . Since then it has been put away until I hardwired it to the bike it is part 1273 which shuld be power enabled via AUX 1 . But still flashing lights bloody anoying ....

Not sure if I am of any help. What I did was follow the instructions but remember that when it talks of the flashing led, to make sure it's the faster flashing led you get, before carrying on the install process:confused:

If you have followed our instructions they cleary state that you need to press the button twice as in two lots of 6 seconds to allow for the correct searching mode. If this is not being done the dongle is NOT pairing correctly as it needs to.
