I’ve just ordered a gs 911

Is the wiring hidden on the bike ?

make sure it can do the correct features... the GS911 wifi or I guess a later Bluetooth one - the more advanced stuff is via an online handshake back to base...

so in my case wifi to RSA, laptop in between allowing USB to connect the device to the bike

on the older bikes the plug is part of the main loom - in it is a resistor to do something when no module exists OR it had the basic TPMS module.... you then (if you want the alarm) buy the better combined TPMS and Alarm module and just plug it in - then fiddle about to enable using dealer or aftermarket tools that have the correct features

I guess the later LC will be quite similar - go to a dealer and ask to pull the seat up and look

early up to Jan 2015

later Nov 2015 (including bikes with keyless theft option)

Mines 2015 lc keyless
Yes I think I have the tpms where you would expect the alarm to be

So your thoughts are that needs to be replaced with the alarm/ tpms box instead?

I think on the later bike its split to two units might even be in different places - but you'll need to check

I keep a pound of butter in the fridge.

It's to keep the elephants away.

It works :thumb2
I don't have a pound of butter in the fridge, we're too poor here oop north to be able to afford that and all our elephants are safely behind bars at our local safari park
