Nutty - they look the business - but are they any good at reducing the crud hitting the legs? Having to clean the Streetguards after each ride in Derbyshire 'cause of the crud; thanks :aidan

Dunno, I've not ridden it since fitting them as I was away at the weekend:blast

Rode up A68 to Edinburgh today on route to Glasgow (scenic route) wet and very windy with shitty roads with plenty of farmers crud around couldn't believe just where the crap gets ffs. Right side of seat in front of thigh splattered and calf area. Struggle to understand why factory release a bike with such poor rear wheel protection. They must know what it's like. Left side seems ok but wind was predominantly from NW.

BTW one up Zega panniers and Givi toolbox bike had no stability issues what so ever and wind was mega strong.

Yes, I was out Sunday on the West of Scotland and covered in crap off the road, wider rear wheel but no additional protection to suit.............

As someone said before, it needs a hugger or "Mudsling" or suchlike ...or maybe both :)

It'll arrive in the summer when the roads are (hopefully) dry !

Look quite good, are they easy to remove for cleaning off the crud that I presume still collects around the rear shocker, or is it a case of buying a bag of spare cable ties?
It will be interesting to hear the results, can you go out and find some muddy puddles to ride through.

Dont know if its something I will bother with.
I'm used to getting covered in crud on my CB1000R as the hugger and mud guard are useless on it.
All the crud gets thrown up all over the back seat, up my back and onto my lid...was one of the reasons I was trading it in for a GS...didnt think to check for that :blast

my dealer sais there on factory back order, must have been a big rush on them
