BMW Motorrad Connected app - autostart?

My Samsung Galaxy A5 (Android) phone connects successfully to the TFT screen on my 1250GS each time I switch on the bike, but I have to open the Connected app manually every time. Is there any way of getting the app to autostart when the phone and the TFT connect?

There are several apps that when one thing happens you can set another to start. In this case connect to BT device "bike" and start your app. Tasker is one which is very feature rich but not easy to use, Automate is another one but it doesn't have all the features . It should do what you want though in this instance.

It should start without any action from you, assuming your BT is switched on. Make sure you have the latest app software, which was released yesterday and now you can have your actual bike !

The app was updated on my phone last night. I've still got the same problem this morning, ie. I have to manually start up the app. When I do so, it does connect to the TFT, but the app does not start on its own.
