Anyone having any issues using their 1V in the factory fitted cradle, mine works fine as long as you're moving but as soon as you come to a stop the window that asks if you want to turn the unit off or leave on flashes on and off ..... Really annoying. It work perfectly on my last bike TC. Any ideas all the other functions seem to work fine:nenau

Grubby power supply somewhere, is a good guess to start with. Not least as it is simple.

Start by GENTLY cleaning the contacts on the device and the cradle. If that works, great.

Then check the wiring and intervening connections, including any fuse.

Where are you taking the power from and how? I guess it can't be direct from the battery?

Had exactly the same problem on mine, pull up at the traffic lights and it flashes up the shut down message on repeat.

Correctly diagnosed by a tosser as needing a firmware/software update. Plug it into your pc and load the latest versions, sorted in 5 minutes.

This is the cradle that comes as standard on the GSA.... Factory fitted. Just seemed strange that it works fine while moving the problem only manifests itself while stationary ( still with the engine running).

I saw exactly the same symptoms when a customer picked up his new Adventure from the showroom this week and fitted his Navigator IV into the cradle on the bike. As SiRich said above, I previously suggested that he update his firmware and that resolved the problem.

Peters perfect bloody everywhere:D..you were right tho.:beerjug:

Daedalus, mine is a brand new gs with the cradle, Jefferies didnt have a scooby doo but the software update WILL sort it, mine was doing exactly the same with the engine running at tickover, but fine on the move.
