Sounds great but I'll have to take a rain check this time. Anyone looking for an RV point on the way. There's a Little Chef and petrol station on the Ed City by pass at Dreghorn to the south of the city.

Dreghorn services is a good Meeting point for all roads east and south of Edinburgh...

The detour is the A1107 which runs from the A1 southwards into Berwick hugging the coast.

I'll be leaving Fife about 09.00 and am going directly down the A1, taking in Forry's detour. I can stop off at Dreghorn if anyone is going down that way...

Now that it looks like we won't need bouyancy tanks I'm intending to be there. Will choose the meet at Motorrad Central East 09:15 with Voyager and Co. if that's still on. If not I'll just head south via the coast road to McD's at BoT for 11:00hrs.

Unwashed Graphitane 1150GS. Pan-ears off, tank bag on, half worn Tourances. I did once ride a BSA 500 along the Ridgeway, it was only 30 years ago so I hope the descriptions of the route are accurate.

I'm leaving home at 09.00 and will swing round by Focus/Argos car park Leven before heading over the FRB. I'll be in the service area car park at Dreghorn between 09.45/10.00 then head south from there.

Packer, what route are you taking to get to Central East? I was intending to set off for the RV from Bearsden probably 8:00am - 8:15 am with the grips on full blast! Would be good to share the route on the first leg.
