braided clutch hose

I need to replace my clutch hose on a 2002 1150gs i would like to fit a braided hose i would like to fit the one that Niel is having made but they are not available yet and mine is leaking.Bmw are charging £65 my question is is there any body else who make these hoses at resonable price thank-you.

Hi Ian, I'm assuming we're talking Rammy as in Lancashire (I don't know another one). I'm not sure if it is still there, but there was a specialist hydraulic pipe making business on Moss Road industrial estate at Kearsley. I can't remember the name, but the estate isn't that big so if your over there it might be worth having a look. They made up some brake pipes for me a few years back at a very reasonable price. Failing that, there are some hydraulic pipe makers in the Farnworth/Bolton area who may be able to help.

It's not the hose thats difficult to get made - it's the small right angle banjo at the slave end that has to fit into the larger bore hose thats the trouble.

bearing that in mind, i'd be inclined to get an Adventure hose from bmw & suffer paying the extra twenty quid.

Will you listen - it's a non standard pain in the arse part to maufacture

HEL can't do the small banjo with the cottect angle fixed into a standard bore pipe. I know

I've tried pushbike hydraulic systems suppliers. They no can do.
