Hi

Has anyone had experience of brake fluid leaking from the master cylinder boot at the front brake lever?

I don't know if I need a new boot...........any suggestions?

I wouldn't have noticed only I had the bike out on Sunday and noticed blisters on the Petrol tank Paintwork where it has been dripping...........

Cheers

The boot is only there to keep crud out. A leak generally means the piston seal has gone. Best (& only?) bet is to fit a piston kit - new piston, seal & possibly a spring as well. Probably need a decent set of circlip pliers if doing the work yourself.

depends on model if you need circlip pliers, or just a plain old allen key.
