It's not pron, but a bit long winded to download it - I've pdf'ed it and uploaded it here as an attachment.

Thanks guys, must have been settings on my pc (wonder what the missus has been viewing )
Great diagram, i will go to it and check it out.

mmmm i will take a look at that, thanks Kenny, i have checked all connections for leaks assuming if there is air getting in i would also get some fluid weeping when pressurised but i could be wrong. Still convinced it is something daft.

Yes Den, you are right - if air enters in, fluid should come out. However, it doesn't need much oil to come out so you lever gets fully spongy.

Hi Den,

We have no news from you. So, what's up mate? I hope you didn't go on a test drive with the lever totally soft...

No still got it and still planning to get it sorted. I am gearing up to remove the heads and get them done, i will then go back to the brakes one more time , if no joy i will bypass and remove the abs.

FFS man !

put the old rubber hoses back on and bleed it like i described.

in fact you could bleed it one hose at a time into a jar.

Very intrested as well as i have full set ordered for my 1100 . Can you keep us up to date .Please .

Just done it

Not that this helps really but might improve confidence.

I have just replaced all the Goodrich hoses on my 96 1100GS using s syringe to suck out the fluid from the callipers, All went according to plan with no issues.

Came back from Morocco 2 weeks ago (on R1100gs with abs) with a leaking master cylinder on the front brake. Striped it replaced the seals and bled it in 15 mins
