Brakes - HOW MUCH ????

Not had this done myself, not having ABS or servo, but mates just been quoted around £250 for the brake part of his annual service - assume this is changing fluid & checking pads. The dealers reckon 2-3 hours just for this bit. It's a 2 year old 1150GS, wth ABS and servo, bought from new, only 2,500 miles. (yes two and a half thousand)

Sounds a bit OTT to me, anyone got a different POV? is it a competent DIY job?

Changing the brake fluid in EVO servo assisted brakes is not a trivial task.
