Not sure this is in the right section, but here goes . .
Im looking for a breakdown/recovery service for my bikes AND my car combined. GEM use to do a service where the individual was "insured" for breakdown/recovery, and not each seperate vehicle, but it looks like they have stopped that.

Anyone know of a company that does the above (as opposed to "insuring" the car and bike seperately) ??????????

The Royal Automobile Club (RAC) will cover both cars and bikes.

I joined in 1972 - when I only had bikes and was doing a lot of touring around the UK.

I have never needed to be recovered on either so can't give a recommendation but reports I've heard are encouraging.

(Why did I say that . . ypu know what will happen now :blast ).

My bikes are insured with Carole Nash - which includes recovery. They do car insurance as well (I don't have it though).

Bob.

I use the ETA. Always been good when I've needed them.

The top end cover includes you being driven to your destination if you are medically unable to drive and are the only driver in the vehicle.

We use the AA never had any problems with them.
