I am doing my brakes and had to rebuild one calliper. The pistons included from the BMW kit have one side that looks normal, like the old ones, but the other side has a cap instead of being open.
The side of the piston that pushes against the back of the pads is what I am referring to. Question is, do those caps come off, or are they a new style? Any thoughts would be helpful.
