Good information I doubt the company I am keeping will want the Michelin star experience but thanks anyway![]()
No ketchup and no frites! You know nothing of French cuisine.
Keep the Pictures coming !
Just came up on my facebook memories. Took my daughter to Brittany two years ago. I wanted to take her the the Stones at Carnac. My Parents took me when I was around 13/14 Beautiful place. And makes Stonehenge look insignificant.
Audierne and the coast towards Plogoff is worth a ride. Make sure you buy some proper kouign-amman. Not cheap but absolutely delicious. Almost 100% cholesterol too.
Makes lardy cake seem positively healthy.I did tell you about kouign-amman.Makes lardy cake seem positively healthy.
Wrong island . Plus he’s dead![]()
Hence the word 'like', as in 'similar to'......

UKGSER comes good again. I came looking for info. and, found some
Me and Mrs. Uturn are off to Brittany car camping in September arriving Roscoff on the 10th.then travelling around doing the sights plus, getting some cycling in as we are taking our road bikes. We spent
3 nights on a great campsite at Gourech last year during our first trip into France car camping (Mrs. Uturn is not a camper but, i convinced her to give it a go; the deal was, we use the car, fair enough)
so we will likely going back there for a couple of nights.
There is a wealth of info. out there about them i know and i am looking at it but, any tips on out and back from a location cycling routes would be appreciated if anyone has experience of such a thing.
Wapping, perhaps you would be so kind as to prepare for us a full itinerary for arriving Roskoff September 10th. arriving back a Roscoff on the 19th. including camp sites, routes (cycle as well as car)
places to visit and best en route cafes, plus restaurants (not too expensive mind) all to go into my trusty XT. Ta in advance![]()

Some great routes there i agree and we, (well Sue has, as she's IC cycling routes) have looked at some of them. Thing is, they tend to be linear and not
an out and back circular type of thing where you can base yourself somewhere, do a days ride of perhaps, 30 40 miles and end up back at base for tea.
The Green Ways routes (the web site looks interesting) do offer an opportunity to cobble together a nice days ride by using part Green Way part road
which is something we did last year by cycling river banks and canals then returning the same way or by road which, tend to be quiet (we found anyway).
