I have a friend who is up for coming with us if that's ok? He's done a few with me and is new to it but does ok. His bike is a old Husqvarna TE310r.
Absolutely, no issue from me. Anyone else interested ?I have a friend who is up for coming with us if that's ok? He's done a few with me and is new to it but does ok. His bike is a old Husqvarna TE310r.

Suggested start Monyash ?
Monyash if that works for you @FERRET , isn’t that close to where you parked last time ? (The bookstore ?)Yep, looks good to me, any idea of meet up point?

Just let me know where you decide, cuppa before the off sounds good.Just a thinking about @MickDB1's point about the cafe not opening until 10, it was pleasant to grab a coffee and use their loo's before starting. As a couple of options we could revert to the Cow shed, or a bit further south the farm shop and cafe at Hartington ?
OK, lets try the farm shop and cafe at Hartington , I'm keen to see if their Eggs Benedict trumps the Cow Shed'sJust let me know where you decide, cuppa before the off sounds good.

Looking forward to it and if my mate has bought the right sprocket he'll be with us too. See you there. If the forecast is right, it should be pretty dry between now and Saturday, which I'm really looking forward to. If anyone else is thinking of joining have a look at the 'Lost on the Lanes' video, it looks pretty easy for enduro bikes, and should be fine for small to medium adventure bikes with suitable tyres and pilot. I've done the 40 mile one this route is based on and it was good fun without being too technical. We currently have me on a shiny new 390 Adventure, a KTM EXC 500 ( @Slime Bomb ) and a venerable Suzuki DR350 (@FERRET ).
Expecting the lanes to still be quiet wet, but as its the Peaks a lot of these lanes are less about mud and more about gravel and stones. @Slime Bomb and @FERRET , see you on Saturday (09:30 for 10:00 at the Hartington Farm cafe as above) if you are still good for it ?

I think that lane at the back of the Cat is the Old Mac road maybe? I'm game to give it all a go anytime. I had a walk through it a few weeks ago to have a looksee. I've attached a photo of Cumberland brook section (circled)I'll take a look @Slime Bomb.Cumberland brook, that's the nadgery lane at the back of the Cat and Fiddle from memory ? I have done that before, but it did take me out of my comfort zone. Maybe we should have one day where we focus on both Cumberland brook and Three Shires ? I have a week off after this week, so happy to do any day from next Sunday to the following Saturday (Monday excluded) if you want to do the above route.
