lillouet, where we were subject to a downpour which flooded the car park in 30 seconds. i see the canadian bacon is still very thin and extremely crispy.

Arrived at our hotel in Clearwater, 425km’s today. Walked across the road to the amazing little supermarket and bought another lasagne (different brand).

Better than last nights
Started the day with a few waterfalls, got to see Mount Robson on one of the 12 days a year the top is visible.
Arrived in Jasper, a few Elk and deer around, met up with my friend at our hotel, nice meal out tonight. Apparently the northern lights will be out tonight around midnight fingers crossed.

A day in and around Jasper today. 1st off for a hike at Pyramid Lake then back for a look around the town. Bison for dinner because it was the only thing on the menu I’ve not seen anywhere else so far. Lots of Elk in close proximity. The lobby of our hotel has a swimming pool in it, very odd.

Definitely bison, our Canadian friend said there aren’t any buffalo in Canada. Of all the place’s we’ve been over the years, never eaten bison before, bit like deer in my opinion.Do you mean buffalo?

Today was the shortest in mileage at 160 but the longest in time because the scenery on the Icefield Parkway is stunning, including over 100 glaciers!
