Canbus socket.

Hi.On my 05 1200GS there is a socket coming out of the loom just behind the headstock.It apears to be the same as the canbus plug on my sat nav lead.
Before i plug it in,can i pressume this will be ok.
The canbus socket on my GSA 1200 was sited under the oil cooler,is this one the same just different location.

The earlier 1200 models had the satnav power connector on the front subframe by the headstock, whereas the later 2008 onwards models had the connector adjacent to the oil cooler under the beak.
