car type power socket

Has anyone put a car type power socket to there 1200 as i have to keep using an adaptor for the gps etc . Have done it to my 1100 with no problem & thinking of doing it to the 1200 but would be nice to see if its been done by any of you (with pictures of course)

only wanted 2 sockets but could only find a 3 socket type

It's an interesting approach. but doesn't it fill up with water when it rains??

All the internals are plated & i put a small hole in the bottom it's been spot on thats why i am thinking of doing it to the 1200

Well, if you've succesfully used it in the past, i don't see why there should be any trouble with it in the 1200, as long as you can find a suitable spot for mounting it.
