Which colour to paint the wheels?

Nice, but I think I'm gonna go 'bomber' black wheels.

Think black wheels are the way to go generally - I recently did this concept for a 'Buell Bomber' that I want to build one day (basically a stock Ulysses with a lightning subframe and some other small mods/painting)...

Polishes are nice, but I'm guessing they get dirty/dull very quickly?

Where do you get your front fender/mudguard?

Here you go - a VERY quickly thrown together BoxerCup scheme...

But personally.... :barf

Each to their own, eh!

If we were all the same it's be a dull, dull world! :thumb

Quite obviously our thoughts are at complete opposites cos that looks absolutely rank.

The blue wheels looks pretty good to me. The one I'd seen on here like that also had colour matched side panels, and I think it had a closer mudguard also colour matched and as a whole looked pretty sleek for a Tesco value.

Also like Paul's idea of Blue front/white rear, that would go really well. Add polished edges like Speedy's, in fact just colour his centres blue and white as the rest is all there :bow:thumb2:drool I'd be proud to own that.

I like it - Wouldn't be my ideal, but thinking what's possible without a respray

I'll find some time to work up my dream-scheme

ABSOLUTELY. :thumb

Glad you didn't take my comments the wrong way.

Love the Boxer cup schemes, even better than the 30th anniversary scheme on the 12's.

flipping eck! you've given me something to think about now...definately black alloy wheels...but is boxercup the new black??? could be for sure ! I used to have a box cup replika and think it is possibly bmw's best ever colour scheme.

Yeah, it's growing on me - wouldn't choose it per say, but it's certainly not bad.

Black:thumb All of my 3 x 1150 supermoto's have had black 17" wheels - look great imo:)

Any chance of a photoshop job showing your bike but with black rather than blue paintwork and black rocker covers. Think it would look great:):clap

Ok, I know I've posted this before, but it's mine & I like it...:P

Paul, is that a normal GS or a GSA ? oh! and any more photo's, I'm gathering all these idea's together for mine :)

Definitely not normal...

It's a 2000 model GS that's now got a GSA tank & screen but I like the single seat set-up of the original. See if you can spot the other mods...

BTW, I voted for black :thumb2

so far I've noticed
cylinder head bolts painted black with possible magnesium cylinder heads
looks like the adv crash bars in black
Tobinators
aftermarket torque arm
unsure if it's a remote reservoir for the rear shock
front forks look odd maybe that neoprene cover wrapped around the fork lowers
front "swing arm" looks an aftermarket item (looks a bit skinny)
aftermarket zorst
and wee blanking plae about seat release lock

what have I missed :)
