Centrestand

My 2011 gs centrestand has a rubber bung on the left hand and right hand sides. When the stand is up I can see that the right one stops the thing clanging the frame but the left hand one doesn't seem to touch anything, there's an air gap between it and the exhaust. Is my bike missing a bracket on the exhaust?

Same as my 2010, i presume its normal.

Or it may have bent or twisted, had to replace mine

Mine never touched the exhaust side rubber bung but I don't have standard pipes. Didn't see it as a problem.
But never refitted my centre stand after repainting it & don't miss it even slightly
