My outstandingly reliable , never breaks down, Yamaha Super Tenere...has let me down, badly !
I leave for a 3 month trip beginning of June, so, do I bin the trip

I had a couple of test rides on the 800 version first, solo, and with pillion...and I/we were suitably impressed, with both , arse space, and power.
The 1000 MT-X, has a..re-worked, new ( but already out on KTM Duke ) engine..so no problems with early camshaft wear, Brembo brakes, KYB suspension, Bosch electronics, and more...WTF

And, a 4 year warranty !
I admit, the airbox needs modified, and it will be before I head off....but ( apart from the elephant in the room ), I really can't find any negatives

Rade Garage ( CZ ), are working on, and starting to produce upgrades for the 1000 already. I have been in contact with them, so some lower and wider pegs are on their way, and I'll grab one of their screens once I'm further into Euroland.
Rade, make some quality upgrades , but only for bikes that they deem to be suitable !
I'm waiting to see what Adventure Spec also come up with..

Oh brilliant, when I phoned up Jim Allan's they've told me they won't even have a demo bike until the start of June. Tempted to just order it blind and hope for the best but would need to sell my GSA separately first.1000 MT-X
Matz in Forres is getting the first 2 in Scotland !
He didn't have a dealership for any brands, so CF-MOTO approached him and offered him theirs.
They liked the small and busy setup he has there.
He can't keep up with demand now !

The plan was, to ride the S10 down to Armenia, via Eastern Europe.
Looks like I'm using the CF now .

Big shoes to fill! But on paper it looks like a gooden. I think I've consumed all the YouTube videos in German and Dutch etc on this bike, was hoping to start seeing UK videos popping up to get some first impressions. Generally all seems super positive though. Which colour scheme did you order?

It shows what these 1000 MTX are capable of ( but why would you even want to ), and it also shows the mental state of some of these Chinese racers
