Hello all,
Went to adjust the chain this evening and have discovered that the RHS chain tensioner bold (#3 in the image) is stuck... with lots of force it will move, but it takes so much force that I fear I'm going to snap the bolt off, and when it does move, it's only a fraction of a turn and it makes a bloody great sound doing it.
This needs to be resolved, I could drop the wheel and get a socket on it instead of a spanner... but what do I do, replace the bolt (if it comes off) and use a thread tapping tool (is that the right thing?) to clear out the thread?
If I do drop the wheel I might have a bit of space behind the plate to heat up the thread, but I'm cautious about this because of the paint around the area.
Cheers!
Ben
