mines a 1200gs on 54 plate. 12000 mile on the clock coming up to end of warranty. thinking about changing it so i don't run past warranty period. what changes have been made to the 1200 since then ?? if any?????

Totally different LCD display on newest bikes - looks cheaper.

Indicators self cancelled on the old bikes.

Can't comment on the accuracy of the speedo (and yes, the old one is as good as you say) but the LCD bit is different. It is made up of segments like a Casio watch rather than the little square pixels of the old one.
