currently own a white GSA LC, which is nice, but fancy a change. Is it easy to wrap the plastic or do i need to buy new ones ?
anyone changed colour ? If so how did you do it, who did you use and approx cost..

many thanks

Get in touch with Tintinit (on Facebook), if it can be wrapped - they can:

20a, Thruxton Industrial Estate, Thruxton Airport, thruxton SP11 8PW
Phone: 07432 425043

Like wise, a cheaper and reversible option is to wrap it. But you should've bought one in the colour you wanted ;)

ha ha, I did... at the time...
just fancy a change, never wrapped anything before apart from me sandwiches.. !
i`ll give them a call.

thanks chaps

Just find someone on here who wants to swap tank cover and beak!

2 pieces.... either remove them and get them wrapped....
Or get in touch with Chris (TunnerUK) on here and get them painted.
(He is an ace painter, just search on here for some of his work..... he's also a decent bloke.)

I know somebody on here that bought a green one and changed the panels for white ones.I know he still has the green panels for sale.
Then you can either wrap or paint them to your hearts content.

I had a beak painted recently for £70 so rough estimate for all needed in the colour of your dreams be like £200.

Vinyl probably your better option tho as a paint change can affect residual value
👍🏼

Good info as ever, I think wrapping best as can be reversed.

Wrapping isn't too difficult, but there are some complex curves. I'm about to wrap mine again and this time I'm getting some vinyl primer for the edges on the tight curves. Its basically lasted a year. I'm wrapping a spare set of green panels with Arctic Camo. If you want to swap the green for white, i'd be up for it, but doing the wrap this weekend so let me know!

If you're not 100% committed to the colour you're changing to and may want to revert back to the white then Vinyl wrapping is absolutely the way to go.

Hydra dipping requires clear coat lacquer afterwards so isn't really an option.

I know Nutty has had a few bits / bikes wrapped over in Surrey, a bit of a trek for you I realise but you could make a day of it, I'm sure Nutty would meet you there and lend you his KTM for the day ....:D :green gri

Thanks for the offer to swap panels guys but think that wrapping is best ( non permanent) solution. I quite like the look of the ocean blue metallic colour now but as there's pretty much an unlimited choice I'll find something I prefer. :nenau
